The grounds of the Hacienda have been carefully developed to retain the ambiance of the traditional village in its structures and use of materials. Existing sheds and outhouses reflect the past. A Blacksmith's Shop, built for Young Guns has partially become a garage and a prison guard tower from the movie Vampires is now a gazebo. There are extensive flower gardens and a cactus green house.
